1. Who we are and what the platform does
ShareMyGPU is operated by FiveToClose in the United States ("ShareMyGPU," "we," or "us"). The site is a marketplace that lets independent GPU owners post hardware for short rentals and lets renters pay for access. Owners, not ShareMyGPU, operate the machines and supply the remote connection. We do not own or inspect every listed GPU, provision a cloud instance, or automatically disconnect a renter when time expires. These Terms apply to your use of the site. The Owner Rules and Refund Policy are incorporated by reference.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18, legally able to agree to these Terms, and use the service only where lawful. Owners and renters must sign in with Google and confirm their email address before listing or checkout. Owners must provide accurate listing information, and complete Stripe Connect onboarding before taking payments. Your verified Google account controls your owner listings. Protect that account and notify us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. We may suspend a listing while investigating access, payment, security, or legal concerns.
3. Listings and rental orders
Owners choose their hourly price in U.S. dollars and may change it for future orders. The price and selected duration are displayed before checkout. A rental starts when Stripe confirms payment, not when a renter first logs in. The owner must keep the advertised GPU and connection available for the paid period. Only one active or pending rental may reserve a listed GPU at a time. The renter must test the connection promptly and report problems under the Refund Policy. An order is for remote use during the selected period; it does not transfer ownership of hardware, software, data, or intellectual property.
4. Payments and platform fee
Checkout is processed by Stripe. ShareMyGPU sets an application fee equal to 25% of the rental price and routes the remaining 75% to the connected owner account, subject to refunds, disputes, payment processing, and Stripe account requirements. Stripe may collect and process payment and identity data under its own terms and privacy notice. We do not ask renters to pay owners outside checkout for a listed rental. Prices shown are in U.S. dollars; any applicable tax treatment is the responsibility of the party legally required to collect or remit it.
5. Acceptable use
You may use rented compute only for lawful work and within the owner's stated capabilities. You may not use a GPU to distribute malware, conduct unauthorized access or scanning, launch attacks, mine cryptocurrency contrary to a listing's restrictions, infringe rights, store or process unlawful content, or interfere with the machine or other users. You may not resell access without the owner's permission. Owners may not misstate hardware, secretly use or copy renter files, share personal credentials, or leave former renters with continuing access.
6. Service issues, refunds, and disputes
Our Refund Policy explains how to report a failed or interrupted rental. We review requests case by case using the checkout record, listing details, connection evidence, and the owner's response. We may issue a refund or partial refund where appropriate or required by law. This policy does not waive any non-waivable consumer rights or rights to dispute a card charge. If a charge is reversed or refunded, the owner's share and our fee may be reversed or recovered as allowed by the payment processor.
7. Availability and risk allocation
GPU owners are independent providers. Hardware performance, software compatibility, network speed, uptime, and suitability vary by listing. We provide the website and checkout using reasonable care, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or that a given GPU will meet a particular workload. Owners are responsible for protecting their devices, accounts, data, licenses, and network. Renters are responsible for backing up their work and removing it before access ends. To the extent the law permits, ShareMyGPU is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from a third-party GPU or a failed connection. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the site or these Terms. A material change will be posted with a new effective date and will apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. We may remove content, pause listings, or restrict use to address fraud, security, nonpayment, unlawful conduct, or violations of these Terms. Existing payment and refund obligations survive termination.
9. Contact
For questions about these Terms or a transaction, email support@fivetoclose.cloud. Include the checkout session or listing URL when available. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers by email.
